AN ARCHAEOLOGY OF DISABILITY — Installation
The research installation An Archaeology of Disability was co-created with David Gissen (The New School) and Jennifer Stager (Johns Hopkins University) for the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale, How will we live together?
It was subsequently exhibited at the Gipsoteca di Pisa, January – April 2022, the Canellopoulos Museum (June 28 – November 30, 2023), and the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki (December 15, 2023 – June 15, 2024). Part of the installation is now permanently exhibited in the grounds of the American School of Classical Studies in Athens.
AN ARCHAEOLOGY OF DISABILITY — Documentary
Developed in collaboration with Cool Crips (2024–present), this video documentary brings together interviews with the installation’s creators and collaborators, members of disabled communities, and disability activists who visited the exhibition in Greece. It explores their experiences of the installation and their perspectives on disability, accessibility, and representation within museums and archaeological spaces.
